Should I always include a byline? I haven't for some articles, and I think I've even forgotten it a couple of times. If a customer buys the article for full rights, I guess they just remove the byline if they want to? I have included my byline in some articles, especially if I sell previously published work for usage rights only, but I'm not sure if it's so important to me personally to have my byline on each and every article I sell here (I have my own travel blog, I'm a feature writer for Suite101, and if I write guest posts for blogs or something similar I'll always have byline and link to my blog for self-promotion purposes, but I don't necessarily feel the need to have my name in every short article I sell through C/C). Or should I? Does everyone here insist on bylines (for usage and unique articles)?
Thanks again!

I byline everything I write. I like my name in digital print.

Re: Another byline question
I include my byline here always, even on private requests where I know the customer will remove it. Why? Because the customer might remember my name and request more work if its on the actual Word document. If it's not on the Word document, the customer might not remember which writer wrote that particular article.

Thanks for the advice. I'm now thinking I should include my byline in every article... thanks!
