Newbie here:) Kind of got a dumb question about formatting

Post by sabbycat »

I understand about the size and type of font. With single spaced paragraphs and double space between paragraphs.

I guess what I am asking is how is your article supposed to look when you type it out on Microsoft word. Is everything all on the left hand side (reason I ask, cause didn't know if title goes on left hand side or centered) and are each paragraphs indented. Reason I ask about the indentation is cause I thought I saw someone put an example up and it wasn't. Also I know that when we submit, we put a short summery on the submission form. Do we include the short summery in what we write the article in Microsoft word.

Ok that is it, hope it makes sense. Thanks

Hello,

Everything is left justified.

Just put the summary in the summary box. So, this is how the article looks in word:

Title
Byline

Paragraph

Paragraph
More Paragraph

Paragraph

Got it?

Thanks, that was what I was wondering. I think I was just confused if each paragraph needed to be indented. But anyway thanks for clarifying things for me. :)
