About Requested Articles
Once my first article is accepted, I see a list of requested articles, and you can contact the requestor, is this to ask them if the articles are already assigned. How do you know if the articles are still available to write? Any point in the right direction to understand writing requested articles would be great.

Re: About Requested Articles
No, the contact link IS NOT to ask if the article is assigned. Public Request articles are not assigned here. Writers submit complete articles to public requests and the buyer picks from among them, but is not obligated to buy any article. If your article is not bought by the requester within 3 days it goes to the general pool for sale to anyone.
If the request is visible, go ahead and write for it. Even if the buyer has selected an article they may be looking for more. Otherwise they should close the request.

Re: About Requested Articles
Great, thank you. What circumstances would you contact them for? Perhaps specific keywords, or topics? I see some of the requests aren't very specific.

If the buyer contacts you you can contact them back.marygreen wrote:Great, thank you. What circumstances would you contact them for? Perhaps specific keywords, or topics? I see some of the requests aren't very specific.
If you have an article already in your inventory that seems to meet the public request, send it to the buyer. There is a way to attach a link to the article to your message.
Otherwise don't bother the customers with questions.
