Public Requests -- Are We Competing?
A few days ago I wrote an article for a public request. For the time being I've been holding off on writing any more until I see how that article does with the Editors here, but I've been wondering, do multiple authors usually write for public requests and the client chooses between them? In other words, am I competing against other authors to get a publicly requested article sold?
Re: Public Requests -- Are We Competing?
That's correct. But don't think of it so much as competing; if the original requester doesn't buy your article, someone else likely will. CC is a supportive, co-operative community - it's not like a bidding site.

Ok, thanks!
I did one public request that had too many typos to go through (my fault for not adequately proofreading). I just wanted to get an idea of how they worked before attempting another one.
