Customer Requests

Post by FondRegards »

Hi
Can someone please help me out? I am not sure that I understand this message.

‘Your article has been automatically submitted for customer review. The article will remain exclusive for the request during a 3 days period. If the customer decides against purchasing this article, we automatically put your article into our listings of available articles.’

I received the message on March 31. I understood it to mean that, if not purchased by the requesting customer, the article would be posted as available on April 4. But it is not showing up. Does that mean the customer is still considering it?

Thank you.

I'm not sure if weekends count in the three day period. If not, that could be the reason.

I've noticed that the 3 day time frame has sometimes been 4 or even 5 days lately. Just a glitch I assume. Check your "My content" page too. It may be that your article is in "waiting," meaning it is in the customer's cart. Some clients don't buy an article during the 3 days it is exclusive to them. Some don't even look at it in that time...but that doesn't mean they are not going to buy it...it just means it is no longer exclusive to them. They still have a message and a link to the article, so they know you submitted it even after the 3 days and may look at it later. I've had many clients buy an article after it has returned to my portfolio instead of while it is exclusive to them.

Thank you. I didn't think about the weekend, good point. I will keep an eye out for 'my content.' Thank you both for fast and helpful responses.
