I was wondering if anyone has gotten rejected even if they used MS Word grammar/spell check? Is that even possible? To take the word of a human over a computer program? LOL

I use MS Word's grammar and spell checker as a flag to alert me if something might be wrong, but I don't trust it to be correct. In fact, it's often wrong. So, don't just blindly accept its recommendations. Use it as an alert system and then carefully look at the sentence or word in question. Revise as needed based on your knowledge of the problem, not Word's stock opinion.
