New to CC

Post by JKMacGowan »

Hello all! My name is John and I am a new writer here on CC. I'm a former US Army veteran with many years of experience in writing. I just sent my first article for review and I used Word's grammar/spelling check so I should be good

I do have one question that I cannot find in the forums in case someone wants to help me out. Let's say I write an article for a client. Is there any guarantee that they will accept it anytime soon if it meets the guidelines? Or did I just write an article for nothing and will have to wait until another buyer comes along? Does that make sense?

Hi and welcome!

There's no guarantee that the requester will buy the article :(, so it's possible that your submission will have to wait for another buyer to come along. That said, there IS a buyer wanting an article on that exact topic, so you could see a faster sale than if you submitted a random article.

Great! Hey Celeste, love your website by the way. I have another question if you are available... I did write that article for a specific client and submitted it to them. It says that CC has to approve it first and then it will be sent to the client. Is that correct?

Yes, when you submit the article and specify the request it's for via the dropdown, the article will be automatically sent to the requester once it passes the editorial review. You don't have to do a thing :).
