Hello everyone!
As you may have guessed, I'm Marsha and I'm new here. I live in Idaho, and I have no experience in professional writing so I'm extremely nervous, but excited as well! I'm spending today reading through all of the forums and learning the submission guidelines. Any tips would be greatly welcomed and appreciated! Nice to meet you all!

I think SJ said it all. I might also add:
8. Pay close attention to the editor's comments. Mistakes will happen, but it's better not to repeat them over and over again.
Welcome, then, and good luck!
