Hello for the first time

Post by jbielicke »

'Hello' from a newbie. I've posted a few questions already, but thought I would finally introduce myself.

I'm looking forward to being a part of the CC community and have the opportunity to get my work "out there."

I have just had my first article approved. I'm terribly excited even though this in no way indicates that my content will be purchased. However, knowing that CC is looking for quality work, in some way validates me as a writer.

Hello and nice to meet you. I'm Mary.

I know the feeling of having your first article accepted. It took me 3 to get one to sell but it sold within the first hour of it being approved. It is a great feeling.

I wish you the best of luck as a validated writer on CC

Hello! :-) It's a lovely feeling, isn't it? CC's editorial process is the reason I don't feel the least bit of shame in telling people that I work here. And believe me, they don't just claim to have an editorial process, but let any old bit of shoddy work slip through; I once had an article rejected because I left out a single letter. (I typed "breath" instead of "breathe" in one instance.) If that doesn't do your heart good, I don't know what will! 8)
