When to hit "complete" on a claimed request?

I'm not quite sure about the private request / writer pool request flowchart. I know that I claim it, then submit it, then it's automatically sent to the client.

Do I click on "complete" when it's made it past the editor and been sent to the buyer? Or do I only click on "complete" when the buyer has purchased it?

You click on "Complete" once the article has been submitted to that request and has been approved by the editors. This will inform the buyer that the article has been approved and is ready for purchase.
