Hi--
I used to be very active here a couple of years ago, but not so much lately. It seems I have forgotten quite a bit about how the site works! Now that I'm freelancing from home full time, I'd like to get involved again.
I have a message from a customer that wants to contract some new content from me similar to some other articles he has bought. He doesn't know what the procedure is, and I have forgotten. Do I tell him to make a private request, and is doing so self-explanatory from the customer side?
Or should I just add the articles to CC and alert him that they are there?
Thanks! Hope I get my sea legs back soon.

Re: Customer request: how to handle?
Hi geniuswaitress,
I think you should ask the buyer to put through a public request. I'm not sure if this is true for everyone or not, but in my case private requests always get edited and sent through much quicker than public requests or articles I submit to the general pool. I think that would work well for you and the customer. You can always ask CC if you want to know, though.
Hope that helps.

I think Abbamay meant a private request in her first sentence. And that's what I would recommend.

Oops, sorry! I did mean private request. Thanks Jak!
