Is it the time of year?

I'm going through a big dip in sales lately. Part of it is because I've been focusing on a niche. I'm wondering if the time of year is also playing a role. Thoughts? Do sales go down in general in the summer here like they do on other sites?

In a couple days I plan to write a good number of articles in broader topics and see if they sell. I guess I may have gotten spoiled. Back in Winter of this year I was selling articles nearly as soon as they were approved.

Am I also correct in assuming that everyone gets dry spells?

Summer is usually slower for writing gigs. School is back in my area, so it should start to pick up in Sept/Oct.
