The Editors' Schedules

Purely out of curiosity, what kind of schedules do the editors keep? It always seems like I'll get acceptances/rejections at the most peculiar times.

Good question! I always wonder that as well, especially being in the UK as mine tend to come through at quite odd hours.

Mine are as follows:

2:14pm
4:01am
6:57am
12:42pm
3:42pm
3:36am
6:47pm
6:32pm
12:06am
8:04pm

and so on (I'm getting bored myself so I'm sure everyone else is!). Even with the time difference (I'm assuming the eds are in America/Canada) there are some really different times.

Good question! I'm in Australia and have also received e-mails when everyone in the U.S. is asleep. (Or awake with insomnia!)

I've gotten them in the middle of the night too. Like midnight sometimes later. lol If they are on the west coast, I suppose it isn't so bad.
