Writers,
I'd just like to say that the support and thanks that you've been offering is really appreciated. Tightening of standards is made possible by the newest addition to our staff - and while we both differ in editing styles and preferences, having more people-power has allowed for corrections of specific errors and the ability to offer more constructive suggestions . . . I know she can be *very* specific, which many of you have grown to approve of. Writers characteristically don't like change, but thanks so much for the acceptance of what I see as improvements to our ability to process submissions.
It's music to my ears to hear from those of you who appreciate the levels of expectation here. We are neither the most lax or the most stringent, but do really want everyone to do their best.
The next few days will be rocky. It will be only me working until next week, and we are still having some technical problems backstage. I know it's frustrating to have articles lingering in limbo, and I'll to my best to get through submissions in a timely manner once everything is up and working like it should be.
Have a great weekend,
Ed
Thanks from Editors

waiting times
Ed - don't beat yourself up!
Compared to any print magazine, where an article can sit for weeks, a 2-3 days turnaround for approval is HEAVEN! And usually you don't get suggestions for revision either... Personally, I enjoy writing for you guys. Watching what others write, getting the feedback, and selling the articles of course has given me so much more confidence and is surely improving my writing. many thanks to you all - Sue

I agree with sue, this site is great for improving your writing! Hopefully in the future, I won´t be making any mistakes at all. But for now, I really appreciate the patience in correcting the ones I do make. As for the waiting period, instant is always nice, but really, several days for an article to be approved is not bad at all. I know of other sites where the turn-around is up to a month or two, so don´t worry about it! Thanks for doing such a great job.
