Pay Pal

Hi Everyone,

I am new to CC and was wondering if having a Pay Pal account is necessary. I'm a little apprehensive about opening an account and was wondering if customers could pay by check or money order. I appreciate any help you all can offer.

Paypal is currently the only payment option. Everyone here uses Paypal without issue.

PayPal is very safe. The only problem you might have is with spammers who send you emails that look like they are from PayPal, and they aren't. If you get an email from what looks to be PayPal, PayPal has an address you can forward it to and they will determine if it is spam or not. To stay safe, always type in www.paypal.com to check your account, never click on a link in an email. That way spammers can't get your PayPal information.

Dumb PayPal question: I don't seem to have an account number with them. I set up my account (and I made over $50 - yay), but I can't find an account number to give CC. Do they just make deposits based on your name, or is there an account number somewhere and I just can't find it?

Enter the e-mail address you used to sign up with PayPal. That is your account.
