Unable to open file

Hi

I've just had my article "Dog Tricks" rejected because the attached file would not open. I have just checked again to make sure that I did save it as a 97-2003 document (as I have the new Microsoft 2007) and it does appear to have been saved as that. Yesterday we did have a power failure in the area, due to bad weather conditions, and when my computer finally came back on the file had been recovered by the system - I can only assume that that may have had something to do with the problem. I have now tried copying and pasting the article onto a new document and have deleted the old one to see if that rectifies the problem. If this doesn't work, I'm not sure what else to do other than typing it all out again - such is life! I can only apologise for the problem and will keep my fingers crossed that the submission is ok this time.

Just try again. If that doesn't work, you can always paste it into a txt document or try saving it as rtf. I doubt you'll have to type it out again.
