Also a Photo Rejection

Being new to this site, I attempted to make my first submission in the form of a photo. It was rejected, but gives no reason why. It is difficult to know what to submit if I don't know why the first one was rejected. I'd hate to have a few things rejected immediately and get banned. The photo of Chicago at dusk on a rather cloudy evening met the various criteria unless it was considered to be "poor quality." The only other thing I could think of is that the category didn't fit. However, none of the choices fit: 3D, Animals, Animation, Cartoons, Children, Classic Art, Educational, Food, Nature, Paintings, People. I thought it would Buildindgs/Architecture, but that wasn't a choice on the drop-down menu.

I will attempt to submit some articles in the coming weeks and hope to be more successful.

I don't know about why a photo would be rejected, but I do know that the photo category isn't as wildly popular as the article section of the site. I'd focus on articles for now as you mentioned. Welcome, by the way!
