Hello writers!
I was rejected today after doing a review on the television show House. It said I need to distinguish between the show and the guy's name. After looking at it, yeah, it is ambiguous in the article. So, what is the proper way to distinguish it? At first, I thought about italics, but that won't show in the preview.
Thank you!

Hopefully Ed will jump in here if I get this wrong -
Use the italics, even though it won't show up in the preview. It will show up in your document, which is what matters. I'm not sure how customers will feel about that, but in a recent thread, Ed specified italics for titles here: http://www.constant-content.com/forum/v ... ics#p36042
I love that show. Haven't remained current this past year, though. Wasn't the original title House, MD? Maybe that would also help distinguish the title from the doctor himself.
Will look for your review,
Emma

Re: Got a question regarding show titles
I think it's also important to differentiate the two with language.
The show House (italics) . . . the character, Dr. (whateverhisfirstnameis) House
The show House (italics) . . . the character, Dr. (whateverhisfirstnameis) House

Re: Got a question regarding show titles
Yeah, I would go with Dr. House or Gregory House when talking about the man rather than just his last name.
