Can we capitalize DO and DON'T in a list of do's and don'ts in an article?

DO - Brush your teeth.

DON'T - Let your chicken cross the road at midnight.

I've always capitalized my DO's and DON'Ts in my list articles, and they were always accepted, so I'm guessing it's right. I like your DON'T example, by the way!
