Is it just the guidelines?
My article 'WHY YOU SHOULD BORROW to FINANCE GROWTH', has been rejected because it 'does not follow the submission guidelines'. would you please tell me the specific guideline that i overlooked. As you might have realized i spent some time working on the grammar errors so please while at it, tell me if there is anything else that might stop this article from being admitted in future.
Re: Is it just the guidelines?
Please read our guidelines thoroughly and follow them exactly. If your article was rejected for not following the guidelines, it could have been any number of things.
Thanks,
Ed

Okay. I will do that. However i would be happy to know if my article went through the complete veting process. If it did, then is there anything else that i should know about the suitability of the contents therein?... P.s. i am just wondering why you qualified your response to my first query by suggesting that you are not sure why the article was rejected.

Re: Is it just the guidelines?
The CC editor does not continue reviewing an article if it fails the basic initial screening. For example, if the article is presented in a non-standard font, it will be rejected right away without being read further. It is up to each of us writers to ensure that articles are suitable for submission; it is not up to the editor to point out every guideline that we failed to follow. Make a checklist based off of the guidelines and compare your article to your checklist. That way, you will see what needs to be corrected before you resubmit. CHances are, you may find errors that can be corrected now in addition to the initial problem.
