Sold articles not actually sold?

Post by SallyA »

I got an email notification that one of my articles had sold, but today it doesn't appear to be actually sold. I'm assuming the buyer probably changed their mind since and cancelled the order? I also have a pending payment on a blog entry that has been on 'unpaid' status since late last night. I was just wondering if the same has happened there?

Hi! The unpaid status can last a few days until cc receives the payment. Some of the articles that have sold aren't showing in the list and they aren't showing that they have been downloaded. Check your account balance to see if you received the money. If not, then the buyer probably changed his or her mind.

Actually, they are having trouble with the shopping cart - at least in the first few days after the site switch. (supposedly it's fixed but I haven't had any sales since the shopping cart fix so I can't say for sure)

I have multiple orders that sold last week that are in payment limbo that the customer did purchase and pay for. CC Is aware of it and is going to manually recalculate them and post them to my account. I'd email support in this case to be sure.

We had a couple issues during a period of time where order didn't go through correctly if this is the case with your article you will be contacted.

Thanks for the responses.

My account total has definitely gone up in the last day or so but not as much as I calculated so one of the buyers probably changed their mind.
