How to edit a rejected article?

Post by WordCraft »

My article was rejected because I ticked some wrong boxes. I went to correct that error but the article seems to have disappeared...

Can anyone tell me where to find articles that have been reviewed and found wanting?

They have been excised from our system. You have to start the submission process from step one.

Thanks,

Isn't that a little trigger happy? Someone may quite innocently check a wrong box. I can understand wanting to save space but maybe 24 hours or so before purging would give people time to readjust their mistake?

This is currently the way our system works.

Articles should edited on your own computer, and until we implement a copy-and-paste system to replace the current one, this is the way it has to be. The form shouldn't take so long to redo, but make sure to copy your short summary if you don't feel like writing again, so if your article does get rejected you can simply past it in the field.
