emails not coming through

1. There have been some emails that have not been forwarded to my email account including one article that sold and a few accepted. I only found out about them when I logged into CC. Is there a reason I might not be getting all of them. For instance last night there were 2 around 8 pm showing on the cc site and I still haven't received them on my personal email.

2. When I get corrections point out often there are weird letters in it like this which is annoying:

They are: “Trying to predict how your house will fair depends a lot on your local housing market.” – the correct spelling in this context is “fare.” // “Perhaps listing early, is better than staying where you are and accumulating more debt.” – no comma after “early.”
