I submitted an article for a public request on Tuesday. The request had only a couple of days left so I knew there was a good chance it might not even go through, but it was fun writing this article so I took the chance anyway. Of course, the request expired and the article is still sitting on the queue for review. I'll have to delete it because I don't think it will get accepted outside the context of that specific request. I was a bit disappointed, though, because it was the first request I ever responded to.
How long does it usually take for public request articles to get reviewed? I mean, at what point do you stop considering submitting for a request to avoid this situation?

Re: Review times for public requests
Don't delete it! Once it's approved, it will still be forwarded to the customer who may not even realize the request has expired.
