Is it okay if articles have a somewhat flippant tone?

I'm starting a series of articles on how to write action scenes in fiction, and I have a rather flippant/humourous writing style on this subject. Does CC frown upon that?

As long as your tone communicates your message clearly and reaches a wide audience, we don't have a problem with it. Just be sure everything is in good taste.

It also depends upon the immediate subject matter.
Good taste and professionalism are of the essence.
