Thanks to editors and fellow authors

Post by breidi »

:D Hi,
First of all I would like to say thanks to the editors for patiences and assistance with submissions. I have an extremely diffucult time catching my own errors and after reading helpful advice from the forums and such, by printing articles out I seem to catch more errors. I tend to proof read exactly as I see it in my head without catching errors on the computer screen. I also found by engaging the help of a family member who has been helping me edit articles, I have noticed fewer rejections.

I really love writing here and reading everything discussed in the forums. You guys that have been here a long time are inspiring. I have been very satisfied with my earnings here and hope to keep improving in my writing.
Advice from fellow aurthors is much appreciated.

I also wanted to say I enjoy reading the articles of other talented authors as well. I have completed enjoyed reading some of the extremely talented and helpful articles some of you have written.

Hope everyone is doing well and avoiding the "flu bug" that is going around.

:) Be Well!

This was sweet, Breidi.

It occurred to me while reading how much we can learn from new writers, too. It would be nice to hear what expectations, processes, methods, visions, etc. you have about being a writer.

Good luck on CC. It's a great place to be.

Thanks for reading!

I personaly hope to develop my writing even further. Often time I leave a lot to be desired, but I am improving, I think. I believe it depends on the topics as well. I have tried stretching the limits of my knowledge and have found I am better at some topics more than others, but ateast I attempted and learned.
Of course like everyone, I have a goal. Over the next two years I would like to make enough money between writing and Mystery Shopping to stay at home. My grandmother has been ill and I live with her. I was hoping to make enough to stay home if I had to. So far I have done pretty OK in a combination of venues improving monthly.
I enjoy reading and learning from the authors already established here.
I would love to hear others thoughts as well!
Be Well all and Good Luck!
