Article rejected because Short Summary isn't accurate

Hi everyone,

I'm new to CC. My fourth article was rejected because the "conclusion does not accurately summarize the article."

The Short Summary did, indeed, summarize the article in three sentences. But I went ahead and modified them a little so the editor would be happy.

They replied that I hadn't made any changes.

I replied in a note to the editor that the I had made changes per their request and that the Short Summary is an accurate overview of the article. I asked them to explain how it is inaccurate.

I want to understand so I can fix this and move on.

I'm also concerned because I don't want to be banned for asking questions. Is this likely?

I'm open to suggestions, especially from writers who have been here a while.
