Usage then Full rights?

Hi,

I sold an article with usage rights last August. It just sold for full rights. Is that allowed? Was I supposed to do something so that it wouldn't be sold for full rights?

The customer knows that it was already purchased through CC for usage rights, so this situation is allowed.
